Kumalak Readings, We mustn't confuse Mastery with Mimicry

What is kumalak?

Kumalak is a form of geomancy, dating back thousands of years, it opens up a miniature world, full of insights and guidance from spiritual side of life. Though, it's not fortune telling. Kumalak has its origins to Kazakhstan where shamanic tribal cultures can still be seen alive and flourishing, also the northern parts of India, Himalayas, and in the east, such as Siberia to exotic Persia, surprisingly, even in the west, this method of divining can be seen practiced by hobbyists.

Reading kumalak, is rather complex to explain in words, To really get accurate insights the practitioner needs to be initiated to summon the power of kumalak. As it differs from other types of divination tools (such as tarot or astrology) in fact, genuine kumalak reader cannot learn to see the meaning of kumalak from books, for it has to be earned, as it's a pathway of the heart

Number of beads on the spread represents nature's four elements (fire, water, wind and earth), and in addition, each section corresponds to the human senses such as, eyes (view point) heart (feelings, truth within) feet (destination motion forward)

The way the reading is performed, is first there are procedures in place which must be performed (I'll share with you one example: 41 kumalak beads must be, one by one touched on the forehead to open the third eye "third eye is responsible for second sight and intuitive perception" and to actually accomplish this, while, each bead touches the forehead there are incantations which must be silently said within the heart, as it will open the pathway to different states. And only in this state can kumalak be read.

As the beads then move around on the grid (without me physically touching them) for the trained heart.
